I live and work in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I am a member of the Aging Life Care Association, a Board Certified Patient Advocate, and a Certified Teepa Snow Positive Approach to Care (PAC) Independent Consultant for dementia support.
My work includes areas of community resources, fall prevention / home safety, solo aging, family communication, end of life literacy, and healthcare advocacy. My direct experience working with older people includes serving as a Resource Navigator at a nonprofit lifeplan community as well as Director of a Village Project which brought services to people living in their own homes.
My educational background and professional experience provide the foundation for both practical and contextual support for working with older people. They provide me with the skills and knowledge to communicate effectively about topics relevant to older adults.
